We have been alerted of a scam currently targeting older adults in our area. The scam involves phone calls in which individuals posing as CVS pharmacy representatives request personal information, such as an individual’s Medicare number or other records. Be on the lookout for these fraudulent calls or other scams. Protect your personal information from fraud by refraining from providing personal information to anyone you do not know. Never provide credit card or other financial information to unsolicited callers. If you have any doubts or concerns about potentially fraudulent activity, please hang up and call your CVS pharmacy directly using the official number at cvs.com or on your CVS Caremark card.
