A new fire station, movie theater, and opportunities to explore the district with me!
Mayor Lurie and I recently introduced legislation to revitalize 530 Sansome Street—the current site of the aging Fire Station 13—by transforming it into a vibrant new hub featuring office, retail, restaurant, and hotel space. As part of this plan, a modern Fire Station 13 will be constructed directly behind the new development.
This public-private partnership represents the most significant new project in the northern Financial District in decades. It’s a powerful signal of confidence in our city’s economic recovery and the future of our downtown.
