District 2 University (D2U) is NEXT Village SF’s latest initiative expanding our classes, activities, social events and more. You do not need to be a member of NEXT Village to attend D2U events and most are free!

About District 2 University (aka D2U)

D2U is a NEXT Village SF program that brings high-level intellectual, cultural and social experiences to San Francisco adults aged 60+ and people aged 18+ with disabilities. Events generally take place on Zoom or in SF’s Supervisorial District 2 (Russian Hill, Marina, Cow Hollow, Pac Heights, Presidio, Seacliff & nearby neighborhoods). D2U is made possible thanks to a generous grant from the San Francisco Department of Disability and Aging Services’ Dignity Fund.

You do not need to be a NEXT Village member or to live in District 2 to join us for D2U events.

D2U is all about YOU! You can simply attend events — or YOU can be a part of making them happen by joining one of our Events Committees or our Advisory Board.
